Yoga is an ancient art and science that brings health and well-being to your body, mind and spirit. The word "Yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word which means "to yoke" or to bind together. To bind together all the various parts of ourselves which is thought of as the body, mind and spirit. The true purpose of Yoga is to unify - to yoke - or to join ourselves with universal energy that courses though all living things. This experience of connection is brought to life through Yoga by unifying the body, mind and spirit. Thai Yoga Therapy. This ancient body work involves different forms of touch done on the floor, with pressing, stretching and twisting. Those who receive this form of body work will experience relaxation, peace of mind, happiness, flexibility and youthfulness. Feet, palms, thumbs, elbows and knees are the tools of a Thai Yoga Therapist. Thai Yoga Therapy sessions are scheduled with Kathleen Wall and are 1 1/2 hours long, and cost $75 per hour.
Sacred Movement Yoga Therapy.Kathleen Wall offers Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. This powerful, personal, transformational technique for mind, body, spirit and emotions is offered in individualized sessions. These client-centered sessions combine assisted Yoga postures with non-directed dialogue supporting, expressing and releasing emotions and restrictions while providing insights for integration into your everyday life. Sacred Movement Yoga Therapy sessions are scheduled with Kathleen Wall and are 1 and 1/2 hours long, and cost $75 per hour.
Sacred Movement Yoga Classes. Yoga involves a series of stretching postures and breathing exercises to calm the mind as well as tone and strengthen the body. These beginning to medium level Yoga classes are taught by our Sacred Movement Yoga instructors, Kathleen Wall and Kathleen Wood. Our instructors use experience, professionalism and sensitivity when teaching Yoga classes. They also use the best Yoga equipment in a relaxed, serene and comforting setting. Private Yoga Classes. Want to try Yoga with your own friends? Put together your own group (minimum of 5), then call Sacred Movement Yoga to set up your time and day!
Extra Gentle Yoga Classes. If you think you're too inflexible, too overweight or too old for Yoga, you will be delighted with this class. A gentle approach to Yoga, helping you experience increased flexibility, improved circulation and vitality.

Kathleen Wall. Kathleen's somatic body work therapy session provides an opportunity to experience exploration of movement in one's body, mind and spirit. A soothing experience with precise body work modalities used to release contractions. You are invited to come and experience body-mind awareness through caring, therapeutic touch. Kathleen Wood. Kathleen brings an extensive teaching background to Sacred Movement Yoga. She earned a BA degree with a double major in Physical Education and English at Adams State College in Colorado. She has used her education training the past 20 years as a guide on the Colorado River. Though relatively new to Yoga, Kathleen's physical fitness and education background, as well as her strong connection to the natural world, enable her to bring a unique perspective into the Yoga room. "Yoga brought my love of the natural world and my background in the physical education field and connected it with my spirituality. Everything just fell into place." Kathleen has continued her Yoga education and earned her certificate by attending weekend seminars and a week long intensive on Anusara Yoga.
